ALLGORN, SIRELAND
Calogero: So, you think you can waltz into my yacht and kill half of my guys?
Marcus: That wasn’t the plan, but, things got out of hand…
Calogero: Got out of hand!? I’m sorry? GOT OUT OF HAND!? What the hell did you all think you were playing at? Marcus, I’m ashamed of you.
Marcus: I’m really sorry… but…
Calogero: But what!? And as for you Bryan, I’m too fucking ashamed with you to even look at your smug face… you disgust me young Reeves!
Bryan: Likewise, things got out of hand.
Calogero: Something tells me that you were behind everything. Do you know anything about who planted the bomb?
Bryan: No…
Rod: Listen, let us go now, or you’re going to up to your neck in cops wanting to bust you!
Calogero: Shut up, you scum. You and Mr. ‘Nice guy’ Harper here, with you’re shitty disguises… but you Sergio, you’re the one I’m really angry about, and you’ll be a very lucky man if you see the light of day tomorrow…
Sergio: I have my luck, boss.
Calogero: Don’t call me boss anymore. I like to be in charge, but not in charge of you… you’re face is a nightmare!
Calogero: Alright, you bastards. I’m out of here. Andre is now going to take care of you. If anything happens, I’m holding you responsible, ok Marcus?
Marcus: Hmm, fine by me.
Vincent: Ok, Marcus. We need to think of a plan.
Marcus: I’ll distract this Andre some how and then I’ll kick is teeth in when the time is right.
Rod: That won’t work…
Marcus: Depends how quick we are… if I set one of you free, you’re going to have to help me with everyone else, and when I set another person free, we carry that on. And then, when we’re all free, we’ll find the nearest exit. Then we’ll find out where we are, find the nearest train station and get back to Sengland. I hope you slept well because it may be a long journey…
Bryan: Sounds like a plan.
Francesca: I’m scared.
Sergio: I wouldn’t worry, Francesca.
Francesca: Ugh, don’t talk to me… you’re horrible.
Rod: What are we going to do about Luca? Or should I say Sergio…
Marcus: I’m to kill him.
Rod: But we don’t know whether he’s an undercover cop posing as a Mafioso, or maybe he’s a Mafioso posing as a cop…
Marcus: I’ll get it out of him.
Rod: You will, Marcus.
Andre: Ok, Marcus. Don Calogero wants to see you. Come with me please.
Marcus: Sure…
Andre: Argh!
Marcus: Ok! Through here! We don’t have much time!
Rod: Keep it going!
Francesca: Wait for me!
Vincent: Run ahead people, I’ll stick with Francesca!
Calogero: Andre, what the FUCK has happened?
Andre: I could ask you the same question…
Francesca: I can’t believe this Bryan. You were a copper all along?
Bryan: Definitely.
Francesca: Then why did you never stop them doing what they did to me?
Bryan: I..I…
Francesca: They raped me, Bryan. A criminal offence. You did nothing.
Bryan: I could have, but I was never always there. And I would have completely blown my cover if I came to your protection.
Francesca: That’s not the point! You left me there, in the hands of those slimy bastards!
Sergio: So then, what happens next?
Marcus: Well, you’ll have to wait and see. But the way things stand, they’re not looking good.
Rod: Why Luca? Why?
Sergio: It’s Sergio. Call me Sergio.
Rod: Why did you do this?
Sergio: I won’t tell you.
Rod: You either tell us now or I’ll throw you out in front of a train…!
Marcus: Leave him be, gov. Let’s just get back to Sengland first.
Rod: You were such a sleazy bastard going behind our backs like that!
Sergio: Ah, fuck this. I never liked you, gov.
Marcus: Oi!
Sergio: They all think they’re so smart…
Marcus: Sergio! You haven’t got a chance! Give this up, now!
Bryan: Alright Marcus, I’m right behind you. Don’t lose that bastard we can’t let him get away!
Marcus: Well then, Sergio. Nice try.
Sergio: You lot have got nothing on me.
Marcus: So how do you explain you’re recent suspicious behavior?
Sergio: I’ve been stressed… living on my own is hard, you know.
Bryan: Right, so after being away for weeks, I find you in the toilets yesterday evening… and you admitted, that you was nobody other than Sergio Bini.
Sergio: Did I really? Marcus, Bryan’s just telling a load of lies here. You can tell that he’s the Mafioso, not me.
Marcus: Explain then, before Alberto Marini’s death earlier this year, his last words mentioned your name in it?
Sergio: Oh… this is too complicated. Things got out of hand.
Marcus: Tell us, Sergio. Are you D.I. Luca Tennyson, a detective who worked undercover? Or, are you Sergio Bini, a man who perhaps faked his identity to become a certain D.I. Luca Tennyson to work undercover as not a detective, but a Mafioso?
Sergio: No, no! None of that’s true!
Bryan: The way things look, Sergio, is very bland and dull for you indeed. Just confess, and perhaps you can go…
Sergio: …
Marcus: I’ll ask you again, who are you?
Sergio: I’m Sergio. I am. I’m the Mafioso who faked my identity as a certain D.I. Luca Tennyson. But now that that’s out, I can go, can’t I?
Marcus: No, not just yet! Sergio, wait!
Sergio: Piss off!
Bryan: Ah, I don’t get paid enough for this.
Sergio: Argh!
Marcus: Sergio, if you keep running from us things are only going to get worse. And we’re not going to give up!
Sergio: Give up coppers, I’ll keep on running!
Bryan: Not unless we stop you! We can make things work…
Bryan: Ok, Marcus. He’s in here. Do what you have to do.
Marcus: Wish me luck.
Bryan: I do. You’ll need a lot of it, too.
Sergio: Oh no! Please, leave me! Leave me be!
Marcus: You couldn’t escape me that easily, could you?
Marcus: Let’s just hear everything that I need to know. Then, I’ll let you go.
Sergio: Whatever.
Marcus: You’re a Mafioso, named Sergio Bini, right? You were a member of Calogero Giuliani’s crime family, based in Abbeyway, in USN?
Sergio: Yes…
Marcus: A few years ago, you ran here, to Sengland. Why was that?
Sergio: I don’t know.
Marcus: You do know, Sergio. If you don’t tell me, I’ll have to kill you.
Sergio: Shut up, you’re just a soft copper, you wouldn’t dare…
Marcus: Oh really, then what happened to quite a few guys recently? Guys got their arses kicked left right and center. Ever since we uncovered the truth of Paul Jones, that crooked bastard, has lead us to all of this. If he never fucking found us in his fucking compound we would have never found you! If it wasn’t for him we would have never, EVER, uncovered the truth of Alberto Marini, nor Calogero Giuliani. So it pretty much looks as if you’ve got nowhere else to go!
Sergio: You won’t get anywhere with threatening me…
Marcus: I’ll ask you again, WHY did you run!?
Sergio: Because I was scared…. That’s why! I was SCARED!
Marcus: Scared?
Sergio: Yeah, that’s right! I originated from Simexico, was born in Sitaly, moved to the USN and realized I had no cash. After years of living there, I became quite skilled with firearms, as I fought for a short while in the USN army… so to get cash, live the Samerican dream, I opted to join the mafia. But I didn’t like it, I’m not a cruel person, but I needed cash to have a roof over my head and food on the table… I had no other choice…
Marcus: So you were scared why?
Sergio: I realized it wasn’t the thing for me. I’d rather live on the streets than risk my arse in the mafia.
Marcus: You were scared!? But you were in the army!
Sergio: I went AWOL after a few days…
Marcus: Oh, so you ran from the army too…
Sergio: Yes…
Marcus: But that’s not the point… why are you here?
Sergio: I… I moved to Sondon… and I had heard that D.I. Luca Tennyson of the Sondon Metropolitan police was being dispatched to the Siverpool Metropolitan Police. He was Moorish, like me, he coincidently looked similar to me. So I thought, why not cover myself by joining the police force? So, I killed Luca, and took his name…
Marcus: What!? That’s such a disgusting thing to do!
(Marcus reloads gun)
Sergio: What are you doing? Put that thing away! You said you’d let me go!!
Marcus: You killed a detective, Sergio. A good one, and that to me, isn’t an excuse to save someone from their death… I find it so fascinating how you had the nerve and skill to remain in the police force…
Sergio: I started off bad, but I learnt the tricks of the trade and within a few months I was locking criminals behind bars…
Marcus: This is such a horrible yet genius scam. I’m so surprised you’re still here today… but, I’ve been sent on a job, by Giuliani himself.
Sergio: What!? WHAT!? You’re a Mafioso too?
Marcus: All these things you hear about me, going back to 2011, yeah? Well he can help me, and you’re not real, Sergio.
Sergio: What the…? Not this again!
Marcus: So, I have to kill you anyway.
Sergio: No, no! Please! You can’t do this…
Marcus: …
Sergio: Please!
Bryan: What are you doing? You did marvelous in there? Get back in there!
Marcus: I can’t do it.
Bryan: What?
Marcus: You heard me, I can’t do it! All this, killing… it’s not what I’m here for… I just want to go back…
Bryan: Your fingerprints are on the gun, you take this body to Calogero tomorrow and prove to him that it was you… give me the gun, I’ll do it.
Marcus: You can’t!
Bryan: No Marcus, Calogero will have everything to prove it was you.
Marcus: Bryan…
Bryan: Yes, Marcus?
Marcus: Promise me you won’t do anything like this again…
Bryan: Just relax, Marcus. Say your goodbyes…
Marcus: Send my regards…
Marcus: Goodbye… please forgive me for this one Jane…
(Multiple gunshots)
Marcus: May that be it all…
SIVERPOOL, SENGLAND
Rod: Alright you lot, here we are. Back in Siverpool, we’ve missed you old girl…
Marcus: It’s finally nice to see the place again, wouldn’t you agree Francesca?
Francesca: Definitely, back to work for me!
Rod: Alright, listen up you bastards. I’d like to hand it to Marcus and Bryan, who uncovered the truth of the D.I. Luca Tennyson scam. That bastard is soaking in his own blood with half a dozen bullets in his body… things got out of hand yesterday, but everything worked out after all, apart from Sergio of course. But, there’s still Calogero to catch now, and we need to uncover the truth of his plans and ambitions… or maybe now that Bini is dead, he’ll finally piss off and leave us be…
Bryan: Thanks, gov. It was my greatest pleasure.
Rod: To kill Sergio?
Bryan: Uh, no… erm Marcus killed him…
Vincent: Marcus’ performance has been great recently.
Francesca: He saved my life; I owe it to him…
Marcus: Do you really mean that?
Francesca: Of course I do, you saved me before from those bastards, and you saved me again… you’re a hero.
Marcus: That’s such a lovely and touching thing to say, Francesca.
Francesca: I owe it to you.
Marcus: How?
Francesca: With this…
Rod: Hey lads, good job to all of you.
Bryan: Thanks gov…
Vincent: You did really good…
Rod: And hey, Vince, we messed things up but… you gave Calogero a good whack…
Vincent: (Laughs) Yeah, the bastard deserved it.
Rod: Marc, you seem pretty quiet… but boy has that Francesca got the hots for you!
Vincent: You don’t seem too happy about it…
Marcus: I’m married…
Rod: Oh, I see…
Marcus: But the real problem is this… it felt so amazing… as if Francesca and I were born to be together…
Gonzalo: You should really sort out what you want, Marcus.
Marcus: Look, my wife isn’t here… she’s waiting for me by my bed side.
Gonzalo: Huh?
Marcus: It’s a real long story, everyone knows it… Bryan or Vincent will tell you… they think I’m going psycho, but I know I’m not. Come on, gov. Let’s have a game of pool.
Marcus: You can have the break shot…
Rod: Marcus, what’s more important is why you’re here and how old you should be…
Marcus: I would be 15…
Rod: You’re hardly 15, you’re 42.
Marcus: That’s the age I am in 2011.
Rod: Is there anything significant about 1984 to you?
Marcus: Hmm, let me think…
Rod: Anything?
Marcus: Oh no… oh shit! What’s the date?
Rod: It’s the 16th of November 1984, Marcus.
Marcus: Oh no oh no, my brother dies on the 25th of November…
Rod: Well, that’s a while yet…
Marcus: I’ve got to find out where he is, and discover who his killer is…
